Josh brings a breadth of experience to finance that few brokers can match — and a simple belief that great outcomes come from real relationships, not one-off transactions.

His career spans both sides of the lending desk. Josh spent six years inside major financial institutions, working across residential lending, commercial banking and business relationship management. He's seen first-hand how lenders assess applications, why deals succeed or fall short, and how finance should be structured to meet both credit policy and a client's goals.

What sets Josh apart is his experience on the customer side of lending. Before banking, he was a qualified electrician working on major projects across the country, and ran a small business with his partner Zoe — employing staff, using credit facilities and navigating the realities of business ownership first-hand.
​
He backs that experience with strong credentials, holding a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction, majoring in Economics and Accounting. It means he can properly analyse business financials, understand lender servicing requirements and structure solutions across a broad range of clients and scenarios — from first homes to commercial property, business lending, agribusiness and asset finance.

But what matters most to Josh is the relationship. He founded Honey Badger Finance House to be more than a broker for a single loan — he's a partner for the whole journey. That means getting to know your situation properly, planning ahead rather than reacting, and being in your corner as your needs evolve, from your first purchase through to whatever comes next.
